Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Expand Your Storage

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Expand Your Storage

Looking for a way to increase inventory space in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Look no further! This guide will provide you with all the information you need to expand your storage and keep your inventory organized.

Expanding Your Backpack

Your backpack serves as your primary portable storage, and you can increase its capacity by purchasing upgrades using Star Coins. Each upgrade adds seven additional slots, allowing you to store more items. Here’s a breakdown of the upgrade costs:

  • 28 Slots: 5,000 Star Coins
  • 35 Slots: 20,000 Star Coins
  • 42 Slots: 50,000 Star Coins

Expanding Your House

As you deepen your friendship with Scrooge McDuck, you’ll unlock the ability to expand your house, which also increases your storage capacity. This method requires completing specific quests:

  1. Reach Friendship Level 2 with Scrooge McDuck
  2. Complete the quest “Scrooge McDuck’s Grand Re-opening”
  3. Complete the quest “Dreamlight Valley Economy 101” (Part 1)

Once you’ve completed these quests, you can purchase house expansions from Scrooge McDuck. Each expansion adds 10 additional storage slots, and you can expand your house up to 28 slots.

Crafting Storage Chests

In addition to expanding your backpack and house, you can also craft storage chests to further increase your storage capacity. These chests come in three sizes: small, medium, and large. Each size offers a different number of slots.

  • Small Chest: 16 Slots (Requires 25 Softwood, 25 Stone)
  • Medium Chest: 32 Slots (Requires 25 Hardwood, 5 Iron Ingots, 1,000 Dreamlight)
  • Large Chest: 48 Slots (Requires 25 Dark Wood, 5 Gold Ingots, 5,000 Dreamlight)

Crafting chests is a great option for beginners as softwood and stone are readily available in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. Once crafted, you can place chests anywhere in the valley using the ‘furniture’ mode.

With these strategies in hand, you’ll be able to effectively manage your inventory and embark on your Disney Dreamlight Valley adventures without worrying about storage limitations.
