Okay, so the next trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 has arrived, and as expected it totally ramps up the references something fierce. Part of the sequence involves Ralph’s little buddy Vanellope Von Schweetz finding her way to Disney online and getting to hobnob with the Princesses.
Yep, we covered the scene with Vanellope and the Disney Princesses in a recent article. Now the trailer expands on what happened next. Since nobody’s authorized to enter the Princesses’ dressing room unless they’re a Princess themselves, the girls proceed to question Vanellope if she’s princess-y enough to join them.
And here’s the list of questions from the Disney Princesses (voiced by their original actresses whenever possible) that would qualify anybody who answers so much as one of them (technically) in the positive as one of them. For more references we’ll also list the Princesses who fall into each question.
Pocahontas Asks: WHAT KIND OF A PRINCESS ARE YOU?
- Rapunzel Asks: Do you have Magic Hair? (She does)
- Elsa Asks: [Do you have] Magic Hands? (She does, too)
- Cinderella Asks: Do Animals Talk to you? (She does, along with Jasmine and Pocahontas)
- Snow White Asks: Were you poisoned? (Yes, she was)
- Aurora and Tiana Ask: [Were you] cursed? (Yes, they were)
- Belle and Rapunzel (again) Ask: [Were you] kidnapped or enslaved? (Both of them were, but less so for Belle, eventually)
- And finally, Rapunzel (for the third time) Asks the Clincher Question: Do people assume All your Problems got Solved because a Big Strong Man showed up? (Some of these Princesses do, from a certain point of view; ditto for Vanellope! Yes way)
So, if you answered yes to any of the questions above – especially the last one – then Congratulations! The Disney Princesses think you’re a Princess like them too!
