Talking to Simba in The Lion King Realm
Speak to Simba in The Lion King realm, where he will share memories of his late father and express his desire for guidance. Simba will then request your presence as he leads you deeper into the jungle. Follow him until you reach a cliff, where Simba wonders why he can no longer see the stars. Fortunately, you know just the person to help him – Merlin.
Seeking Help from Merlin
Return to Dreamlight Valley and consult with Merlin. He advises that an object with sentimental value to Simba from his past is required. Recall Simba mentioning Rafiki and his walking stick, prompting Merlin to suggest crafting this item.
Crafting Rafiki’s Walking Stick
To craft Rafiki’s Walking Stick, gather the following materials:
- Softwood x5
- Fiber x5
- Purified Night Shard x2
Once you have these items, use a crafting table to create Rafiki’s Walking Stick. With the walking stick in your possession, return to The Lion King realm and engage in a conversation with Simba.
Activating the Stars
During the conversation with Simba, place Rafiki’s Walking Stick on the stone mound before you. Interact with the walking stick and select it. A captivating cutscene will play out, revealing that the stars in the sky are once again shining brightly. Simba will express his gratitude for your assistance but will mention unfinished business in his realm – the Dried-Out Oasis.
Restoring Life to the Dried-Out Oasis
The Dried-Out Oasis was once a vital waterhole for the jungle’s animals but has fallen into disrepair. Simba seeks your help to revitalize the area. He asks you to find three different types of seeds in the jungle:
- Jungle Fern Seed x3
- Waterfall Plant Seed x3
- Clearing Tree Seed x3
Search the jungle with your shovel for shiny plants, which can be dug up to obtain the desired seeds. Additionally, keep an eye out for a hidden green chest behind some greenery. Opening it will reward you with a Furniture Pouch containing a Lion Cub Night Light.
Planting the Seeds
Once you have collected all nine seeds, return to the dried-out oasis and speak to Simba. Your next task is to plant the seeds around the oasis. Use your shovel to dig into the ground and plant each seed, as no additional watering is required.
Freeing the Water Source
At this point, Simba will request your assistance in freeing the water source, which is obstructed by a large rock. Utilize your trusty pickaxe to break the rock and release the water.
