“Avenge the Fallen”: New “Avengers: Endgame” Posters Confirm Character Survivors and Erasures

With only one month left before Marvel Studios ends its MCU Phase 3, fans are now spurred like their surviving film superheroes to “Avenge the Fallen.” This is the tagline being assigned to a new wave of promotional posters for “Avengers: Endgame.” These images also serve to confirm “painful” partings.

As has been stated repeated about the upcoming film’s predecessor, “Avengers: Infinity” ended with the mad titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) using the Infinity Stones to erase 50% of all living creatures in the existing universe. Many of these losses include big names from the MCU roster of heroes, as driven home by these new posters.

There are two poster “lineups,” one in color and the other in black and white (for the photos at least). The former represents the survivors while the latter either got killed in the course of “Infinity War” or were “snapped” by Thanos in the climax.

In our opinion, the posters have at least one shocking surprise on both the Survivor and Fallen lists. What their survival (and death) entails in the upcoming movie hasn’t been discerned yet.
