Star Wars Rebels may be over, but the telling of the adventures of the heroes fighting to keep peace and order in the Galaxy Far, Far Away seems never-ending. Later this year will see the premiere of a new animated TV series from Lucasfilm Animation, the anime-styled Star Wars Resistance.
Set in between the original and sequel Star Wars trilogies but much closer to the beginning of Episode VII – The Force Awakens, Resistance tells of a civilian pilot recruited into General Leia’s clandestine force to fight the emerging First Order before they become a serious threat to the New Republic.
Here’s a list of voice talent that have been initially announced for the show. You’d definitely recognize two of the names from the Star Wars sequel trilogy (and other roles). Star Wars Resistance will premiere in late 2018 on the Disney Channel and will also air on Disney XD.
