The “Lovely Monsters Star Path” has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley! This limited-time event offers exciting rewards themed around Monsters Inc. and Valentine’s Day. To unlock these treasures, you’ll need to collect Scream Canisters by completing various tasks called Star Path Duties.
This guide will equip you with all the knowledge you need to complete every Lovely Monsters Duty and claim those roarsome rewards!
Finding Your Star Path Duties
- Open the Event Tab in your menu.
- Select Duties.
Here, you’ll find a list of all the Star Path Duties. While some seem straightforward, others may require a bit of clarification.
Decoding the Duties
The following table breaks down each Star Path Duty and explains how to complete it:

| Uproot the Forgetting | Remove Night Thorns or Splinters of Fate. |
| Break some rocks | Mine rock spots. Head to Vitalys Mine for optimal results. Use Miracle Pickaxe Polish and a food buff for efficiency. Partner up with another player for even faster completion. |
| Complete Dreamlight Duties | Complete either Dreamlight Duties or Mist Duties. |
| Spend time with some classic friends | Hang out with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Merlin, or Scrooge. |
| It’s better to give a favorite gift than receive | Give favorite gifts to villagers. |
| Build stuff | Craft items. |
| Engage in Goofy’s favorite pastime | Go fishing in any body of water. |
| Harvest some bright red berries | Harvest Raspberries, Gooseberries, or Strawberries. |
| Make small talk | Have daily discussions with any villager. |
| Earn some Star Coins | Earn Star Coins through various activities. |
| Get some very valuable rocks | Mine minerals (gems). Vitalys Mines in Sunlit Plateau is the best location. |
| Cross some items off your regal to-do list | Complete 10 Dreamlight or Mist Duties. |
| Spend time with your favorite trash-compactor robot | Hang out with WALL-E. |
| Harvest Maui’s gift to the Valley | Harvest Coconuts. |
| Cook meals that would never make the cut at Chez Remy | Cook 1-star meals. |
| Dig for something blue | Mine Aquamarine, Sapphire, Zircon, or Vitalys Crystal. Best done in Vitalys Mine. |
| Bring your favorite Madrigal some gifts | Give Mirabel her favorite gifts. |
| Work a shift at the restaurant | Serve meals at Chez Remy. |
| Play “Go Fish†with some bass | Catch Bass. |
| Prepare meals with a fruit that’s red on the outside and white on the inside | Cook meals using Apples as an ingredient. |
| Have a chat with a demigod | Have daily discussions with Maui. |
| Dress up in your Mickey Mouse ears | Equip Mickey Mouse ears. |
| Spend time with a tiny chef | Hang out with Remy. |
| Give a speedy and sugary princess her favorites | Give Vanellope her favorite gifts. |
| Go angling for some multicolored shrimp | Catch Shrimp or Prisma Shrimp. |
| Collect some sandy seafood | Collect Clams, Oysters, or Scallops. |
| Cook some above-average Meals | Cook 3-star meals or higher. |
| Chat with the Village’s best dealmaker | Have daily discussions with Ursula. |
| Get some especially shiny rocks | Mine shiny minerals. |
Remember!
The deadline to complete your duties and claim your rewards is April 17th, 2024. Although you’ll have a few weeks after this date to spend any remaining tokens, you won’t be able to earn more once the event concludes.
