Taking place in Los Angeles, Valorant Champions 2023 started this August 6th and concluded on August 27th with Evil Geniuses taking the champions trophy by defeating Paper Rex in what was the best tournament ever seen!
A huge prize pool of $2.25 million was allocated, the largest Valorant has ever held to date, and Evil Geniuses got the biggest chunk of it with $1 million in cheque.
To celebrate the iconic event in style, Riot Games even released a dedicated Champions 2023 skin bundle. And now since the event is over, the skins are no longer available and will also never come back to the in-game stores ever again.
However, you can always buy the Valorant Champions 2023 bundle here and get to keep those epic skins forever!
But that’s not the end of the picture! Besides breathtaking matches and jaw-dropping clashes between agents, Valorant Champions 2023 also gave us a treasure trove of insightful data regarding the game, its popular agents, maps, and more as seen below!
The Most Popular Agent in VCT 2023
Killjoy has been the star of the show. With the highest selection rate of 63%, Killjoy has shown the Valorant community that she is the top pick for the world’s best Valorant players.
Contrary to popular belief, Jett has not been the top-pick agent. She did not even manage to secure her place in the list of top 3 popular agents. In fact, she came in 5th position, just behind Viper.
The Least Popular Agent in VCT 2023
Sage and Phoenix are the only two Valorant agents that were chosen only once throughout the entirety of the Valorant Champions 2023 event. As such, this gives us an idea of their falling popularity among veteran players.
However, things are about to get a little more surprising as Deadlock is the only Valorant agent that was not selected at all during the course of the event! Admittedly, as of writing, she is the latest agent added to Valorant.
