“Twenty-five years later, we return to Sheffield with our original Monty men and women for a comical and heartwarming story of friendship and community triumphing over adversity…”

Hulu will release all eight episodes of the brand-new The Full Monty series on Wednesday. The 1997 film, directed by Peter Cattaneo and written by Simon Beaufoy, follows six unemployed men who establish a male striptease show.

The film, which starred Robert Carlyle, Tom Wilkinson, and Mark Addy among others, was a tremendous box-office success and received an Academy Award for Best Original Score.

The brand-new series will pick up 25 years after the characters’ “full monty” strip.

Along with Carlyle, Addy, and Wilkinson reprising their roles as Gaz, Dave, and Gerald, the cast also includes Lesley Sharp as Jean, Hugo Speer as Guy, Paul Barber as Horse, Steve Huison as Lomper, and Wim Snape as Nathan.
