Disney+ finally has an official debut date for “Ahsoka” after announcing the premiere of the new Star Wars series. Let’s scroll down to see if there is any additional information about this movie.

The story of Ahsoka Tano’s ascent to fame is one of the most inspiring moments in all of Star Wars. Star Wars fans will recognize the name Ahsoka Tano as that of a made-up character. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) introduced her as a 14-year-old Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, and she went on to appear in both the film and the succeeding TV series.
The live-action film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) will have Ahsoka as a voiceover cameo, and the animated series Star Wars Rebels (2014-2018) will feature her as a member of the Rebel Alliance with the codename Fulcrum.
In anticipation of the forthcoming Star Wars series, Ahsoka, here is what we know about it thus far.

When will Ahsoka be available?
On August 23rd, Ahsoka will have its first public showing anywhere in the world.

Where can I get Ahsoka’s plot summary?
The series will pick up where The Mandalorian left off, with Ahsoka (Lars Mikkelsen, Rebels) continuing her pursuit of Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Before the events of the first Star Wars movie, he vanished during the final liberation of Lothal. His status as a wanted fugitive is less significant than the disappearance of another individual, would-be Jedi Ezra Bridger (Taylor Gray).
Although it took her the whole of the Galactic Civil War to fully commit to the quest, Ahsoka ultimately fulfilled her commitment to find him and her comrades, as noted in the series’ concluding moments.
The final scene of Rebels, in which the Jedi exile wears all-white robes and brandishes a staff, may take place after the events of her Mandalorian appearance, Filoni told Vanity Fair, suggesting that Ahsoka may also take place before this time.
If that’s the true, then it’s possible that Ahsoka’s search for Thrawn is unrelated to her efforts to find Ezra. Or maybe she just decided not to involve Ezra’s Rebel cell.

We speculate that Ahsoka’s isolation and reluctance to connect will play significant roles in the show, given her hesitation to train Grogu and Dawson‘s opening remarks at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023. As she proceeds on her journey, it adds a good dose of drama.
While we’re at it, we might as well throw out the possibility of running into Luke Skywalker.
How could Filoni not show us the moment Anakin’s Padawan and son met, despite the fact that she is not a Jedi and we know that they had crossed paths according to The Book of Boba Fett?

Who plays Ahsoka in the film?
Dawson reprises her role as live-action Ahsoka after making her debut in “The Jedi,” an episode of The Mandalorian’s second season.
Sabine Wren, the Mandalorian artist and demolitions expert from Rebels formerly voiced by Tiya Sircar, will be joined in the series by Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

An extended version of the series trailer also revealed that Lars Mikkelsen will reprise his role as Grand Admiral Thrawn, making him the first member of the Rebels voice cast to do so, and that Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Hera Syndulla.
C1-10P, better known by his nickname Chopper, an irascible but loving droid, will also be joining the crew.
It’s been said that Eman Esfandi will portray Ezra.
Thanks to the teaser and Lucasfilm’s marketing, we also know that Genevieve O’Reilly will make her debut appearance as Mon Mothma during the New Republic era, and that she will be joined by Maurice Irvin, Jacqueline Antaramian, Nelson Lee, and Erica Duke.
The lightsaber-making droid Huyang, whose voice David Tennant first provided in The Clone Wars, will also return.
Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), the Beskar spear-wielding servant Ahsoka initially encountered in Episode 13 of The Mandalorian, will also join Thrawn’s forces.
Ray Stevenson (in his final appearance) and Ivanna Sakhno play Force-sensatives Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, respectively, who are neither Jedi nor Sith but will aid the dark side anyway.
Hera’s son Jacen, who was voiced on Rebels by Dee Bradley Baker, and the beloved Clone Captain Rex (who would still be alive at this stage in Star Wars history) could both make their live-action debut in Ahsoka. Morrison has reportedly been cast in the role, but this has not been officially verified.
Christensen, though, will appear on Ahsoka as Anakin Skywalker, continuing the trend of rekindled partnerships between Lucasfilm and Star Wars stars.

Do we know if Ahsoka has a teaser?
The Ahsoka teaser trailer was released by Disney+ and Lucasfilm on April 7 at the STAR WARS Celebration in London. Dawson’s performance as Ahsoka is examined in great detail, and other Star Wars Rebels cast members make cameo appearances.

Where does Ahsoka come from?
Ahsoka marks the continuation of the collaboration between Filoni and Jon Favreau, who previously worked together on Mandalorian. Given the importance of Ahsoka to Filoni’s Star Wars canon, this pairing makes perfect sense.
Filoni announced the directors Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Patel, and Mandalorian executive producer Rick Famiyuwa would be working with him on the project at Celebration 2023. Kevin Kiner, who scored the original Clone Wars and the sequel Rebels, is also coming back to score Ahsoka, he added.

When will Disney+’s Ahsoka be available to stream?
Episode one of the Lucasfilm Disney+ series will star Rosario Dawson. Following the fall of the Empire, the show “follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”
Ahsoka will make its debut on Disney+ in August of 2023.
