ICYMI: Lucasfilm Releases Latest Willow Trailer and Poster

We’re just counting the weeks before we see the return of the titular 80s magical hero that we all know and love. And after more than 30 years, Lucasfilms follows the saga of Willow Ufgood as he embarks on another quest to save his world and foil the plans of an even greater foe. Slated to stream over at Disney+, this latest offering is a sequel to the original, self-titled 1988 film. In case you missed it, here’s the latest Willow trailer of this much-awaited series.

The series will pick up the story of the sorcerer Willow (played by Warwick Davis) after he successfully protected Elora against the evil forces of Queen Bavmorda. And after more than three decades, it seems that there is another looming threat that hangs over the peaceful world of Andowyne.

There is a lot to unpack in latest Willow trailer, and one thing is for sure: there are even larger enemies and evils that are conspiring to destroy everything that Andowyne stands for.

Without giving too many details, this latest Willow trailer foreshadows the magnitude of the threat that they face. But our hero will not be alone: Willow will be joined by old and new allies that will aid him in vanquishing this new treacherous evil. But I guess we just have to wait and see until the first episode in the series arrives on the streaming platform on November 30, 2022.

Other than Warwick, the cast of “Willow” also includes Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Amar Chadha-Patel, Dempsey Bryk, along with Joanne Whalley, who reprises her role of Sorsha from the original 80s film.

Check out this latest promotional poster as well. I love the artwork featured in this poster as it underscores the typical Lucasfilm art that the production company has been known for.
