“Incredibles 2” Voice Cast Fleshed Out

At last, we have something completely different to report about. It’s already well known that the 2004 Disney-Pixar film The Incredibles is up for a sequel by the middle of the year. We also know that most of the original main voice cast is returning to reprise their previous roles.

Now however, we have details on the new additions to the voice talent with the announcement of the new characters to appear in the sequel. The official Incredibles 2 Facebook page posted the announcement with a series of side-by-side images of character art with their respective voice actor or actress.

Additional cast members include Bob Odendirk and Catherine Keener as sibling executives Winston and Evelyn Deavor, Sophia Bush as super-powered superhero fan-girl Voyd and Isabella Rossellini as a superhero-friendly Ambassador of an unnamed foreign country. Huck Milner takes over for Spencer Fox as the voice of Dashiell Parr, the same with Jonathan Banks replacing Bud Luckey as Agent Rick Diver.

Returning voice talents include Craig T. Nelson as Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Ellen Par/Elastigirl, Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr, and Samuel Jackson as Lucius Best/Frozone. Original director Brad Bird takes the helm of Incredibles 2 in addition to reprising super-costumer Edna Mode, alongside longtime Pixar collaborator John Ratzenberger as the villainous Underminer.

The Incredibles 2 first had a 52-second teaser released by Disney-Pixar in November of last year. It will premiere in cinemas on July 15.
