If you missed the big reveal of ‘Finding Dory’ Director Andrew Stanton last ‘April 1’, you might have missed the ultimate Easter egg that Pixar has ever came up with. Disney-Pixar is delightfully notorious in sprinkling several hard-to-find wonders throughout their academy award winning feature animations. Whether it’s the Luxo ball, the Pizza Planet truck or the enigmatic ‘A113’ alphanumeric characters, there seems to be a well of unlimited discoveries in the studios of these CGI magicians.

Now for the first time ever, Stanton together with Hank’s voice actor Ed O’Neill, revealed what could be Pixar’s closest guarded secret since 1995. Watch this video.

As ‘confessed’ by director Andrew Stanton, who was also in charge of the prequel Finding Nemo back in 2003, “Every Pixar fan knows that we love Easter Eggs, and until now, Hank has been our most closely guarded secret. There are even people internally at Pixar who don’t know about this.”

An expert in camouflage, the Hank’s cloaking abilities has never damped a bit in spite of being a ‘septopus’ and missing a tentacle. Now, that is one tough Easter egg to look for. “Hank started off as a bit of an inside joke between those of us who were here at Pixar in the very beginning,“ said Stanton. “But since then, finding a place for him in our films has become part of our culture, and I’m glad we finally get to introduce him properly to fans.”

Still don’t believe Stanton and O’Neill? Here’s a closer look at the scenes that they referred to earlier and try to find Hank yourself. A word of advice:  just don’t strain yourself too much.
