Disney is prepping things up with another clip from its latest live-action remake, The Jungle Book, highlighting the ferocity of its main antagonist, Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba). In its superb story-telling fashion, Disney is putting the spotlight on the movie’s host of animal characters that moviegoers will learn to hate and love once the movie debuts in US cinemas on April 15.
In these minute-long clip, Shere Khan is seen at odds with Akela and his wolf pack. Demanding that the man-cub Mowgli be removed from their jungle, Shere Khan shows his scars to Akela to remind them what a grown man can do. He exclaims, “A man-cub becomes man, and a man is forbidden!”
