The Disney Channel welcomes another family-friendly, comedy sitcom entitled, ‘Stuck in the Middle’ which will premiere with a preview episode on February 14 2016 at 8:45 pm ET/PT. Back to back with another Disney hit, it will be followed by the network debut of ‘Frozen’, as well as through the WATCH Disney Channel app and WATCHDisneyChannel.com. It is slated to have a regular time slot every Friday beginning March 11 at 9:00 pm ET/PT.
The comedy series follows the life of 12-year-old engineering whiz Harley Diaz as she uses her inventions to navigate her way as a middle child in a family with six other siblings. The heart-warming and hilarious stories of a big family find Harley devising creative ways to cope with, and stand out, in her family’s busy suburban Massachusetts household. The series will revolve around her big family, where Harley’s overlooked status proves to be both a blessing and a curse. Her ingenuity often wins the day for the Diaz family, even with such different personalities living under one roof.
Told from Harley’s point of view, the series will follow her everyday antics together with her parents, Suzy and Tom Diaz, Rachel the self-absored eldest; Georgie, a sporty, basketball-playing teen; Ethan, Harley’s closest ally and most of the time accomplice; the powerhouse twins Lewie and “Beast”; and the strong-willed, “come and make me” youngest sibling, Daphne.
For its preview episode, Harley would like to have her family join her as she receives a community award. However, she must use her genius to come up with a way to have her entire family get out of the house and make it on time for the ceremonies.
Disney Channel’s ‘Stuck in the Middle’ stars Joe Nieves as Tom Diaz, Isaak Presley as Ethan Diaz, Ariana Greenblatt as Daphne Diaz, Jenna Ortega as Harley Diaz, Cerina Vincent as Suzy Diaz, Kayla Maisonet as Georgie Diaz, Nicolas Bechtel as Lewie Diaz, Malachi Barton as Beast Diaz and Ronni Hawk as Rachel Diaz.
