Carrie Fisher, or, sorry…’Princess Leia’ will make a comeback in the upcoming continuation of the Star Wars franchise, The Force Awakens. But we already knew that. What was rumored, and until recently had no visual proof, was that Fisher’s real-life daughter, Billie Lourd, would also be gracing the big screen in the seventh film of the franchise. So, big thanks to People Magazine for releasing some exclusive pics of Lourd in her Star Wars garb! See if you can spot the iconic piece of her character carried over from mom’s early days?
There are those over-the-ear buns we’re used to seeing. However, hair-dos aside, Lourd’s character is not actually Leia’s daughter in the film. Her role isn’t yet known, but based upon the costume it would seem she’s taking up some place in the fight against the new Empire. Or, maybe she’s part of a flashback? Her role isn’t known to the public yet, check it out from IMDB!
And yes, in case you’re wondering…get ready for a lot of Star Wars over the next 6 days. It’s primed to be the largest winter-opening of all-time. And it’s almost here!!!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18, 2015!
