Is Hayden Christiansen Returning for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’?

We just gave you a rumor swirling about the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, now it’s time for a rumor about something happening in the film…

The most infamous and disliked character from Episodes 1-3 is ‘Jar-Jar Binks’, the creature created to appease George Lucas’ desire to make the film enjoyable for his young child. The negative reaction to Binks had a close second, though: Hayden Christensen as ‘Anakin Skywalker’, and at the end, ‘Darth Vader’. Whether it was his acting chops or his pouty portrayal of young Anakin, the masses were generally left wanting more for one of the primary characters of the Star Wars storyline.

And now, deep breath, Making Star Wars, a site on Star Wars news, is reporting this:

A team in the UK are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a Star Wars: Episode VIII appearance of some sort.

So…we may be seeing a cameo from Christensen as Vader, but how it will happen is left to be seen. At the end of Episode 6 Vader was seen ‘dying’ in the arms of his son Luke after destroying the Sith Lord Emperor Palpatine. I personally think this will provide an awesome element to the film, and I fully trust J.J. Abrams to lead the film in an unmatched way. But enough of me…what do you think about this rumor?
