Lots of words for some big actor news on the Marvel/Disney front. Well, not big words, but big names…in more than one sense. Already signed on to play the lead in Doctor Strange, Benedict Cumberpatch recently had his female lead for the project offered to… Rachel McAdams. Set for a November 4, 2016 release, and part of Phase 3 of the Marvel films, Doctor Strange will continue introducing new characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with McAdams the primary choice to play the leading lady next to the Doctor. It’s not yet known which part that will be, but many reports and rumors are thinking it could be ‘Clea,’ a pupil of Doctor Strange, but ultimately someone who could compete with the Doc on a ‘mystical’ level.

If you haven’t heard of Doctor Strange, well, it’s time to go freshen up on your Marvel characters, because you’re about to meet a lot more fresh faces. Be on the lookout for more news on this project as it’s released!
