Harrison Ford Injured on ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Set


Welp, looks like Han Solo done tripped over Chewy’s fat foot! Not really, but Harrison Ford, the actor who famously plays ‘Solo’ was injured on set of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII. According to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ he was sent to the hospital after an accident left the actor with a broken ankle. Ouch!

Shooting for the newest Star Wars installment will continue without the 71 year old Ford, who is likely to be on the shelf for up to 8 weeks.

Want to know the real reason why Ford was injured? The Millennium Falcon! ‘THR’ says the door of the spacecraft somehow brought its lively captain down. His body may be injured, but Solo’s bravado is fully enact and is expected to be in full effect for the film.

Star Wars: Episode VII is set to release December 18, 2015.
