‘Frozen’ Adds to Record-Breaking Year for Disney

Disney’s newest animated feature film, Frozen, opens in theaters today! So far the remarks and critiques have been quite extraordinary, with the film even receiving an 87% ‘Certified Fresh’ rating from RottenTomatoes.com. The film comes right after Disney Studios pushed over the $4B mark in global sales for the year, setting the highest ever mark for yearly box office sales (thanks in large part to the huge opening weekend from Thor: The Dark World)! It’s been an incredible year for Disney…and there’s still one month left!

An extended trailer for Frozen can also be seen on Thanksgiving morning on the NBC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast. In case you’re still wondering if you should see the film, make sure to watch that…or listen to the words that describe the film on its RottenTomatoes page: “Beautifully animated, smartly written, and stocked with singalong songs, Frozen adds another worthy entry to the Disney canon.” It’s definitely a film to see.

As Frozen becomes an instant classic for Disney, it also marks yet another reminder of the unrivaled success Disney Studios is currently experiencing. Will you go see Frozen?
