‘Alice in Wonderland’ Sequel in Works

Disney’s live-action remake of Alice in Wonderland was received both critical acclaim and a good showing at the box office. Now Disney is in talks with Johnny Depp about a follow up to the 2010 film!

Depp was featured in the film as ‘The Mad Hatter.’ Also featuring Helena Botham Carter and Anne Hathway, Alice took on the darker, whimsical imagination of Tim Burton, who does wonders with his perfect actors in Depp and Carter. It is not yet known if Burton would be connected, or when the film would begin, but this is big news for the possibility of a next installment.

Would you be interested in seeing a sequel?

  1. i hope they hired someone entirely new who would be the director for the sequel Alice In Wonderland – Into The Looking Glass with Wren (an Alice Liddell look alike and a female version of Liam Aaron McDermott who had red hair before his hair turned blonde) as The Real Alice Liddell that we know and love in the books Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland and its sequel Through The Looking Glass and What Alice Found There as well as a younger version of Alice Kingsleigh (we saw her in flashbacks of her first trip to Underland and met all of her friends in Underland before she walks and jumps down through the looking glass mirror) and Mia Wasikowska would probably reprise the role of Alice Kingsleigh and Johnny Depp would reprise the role of the Mad Hatter if James Bobin wants to give Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter a more Disneyland 1951 style Whimiscal makeover and wants to wear a grey hair wig.

    1. If you’ve read the books, you’d know that a sequel to this film wouldn’t really be Through the Looking Glass, considering that Burton’s adaptation included elements of both Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, which is why the White Queen and a lot of other elements were even in the movie.
