Video of the Now Demolished Utah Movie Set of Disney’s “John Carter”

According to the Governor’s Office of Economic Development for the state of Utah, principal photography for The Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming feature film, “John Carter” was filmed throughout Southern Utah in the areas of Big Water, Kanab, Hanksville, Delta and Moab. The production created 300 jobs over a 120-day period, and brought $21 million into several rural Utah economies.

In the newest concept art released for the film, you can see the similarities to Utah’s Redrock Wilderness, which makes for a perfect Martian-like setting.
